This 5 week Watercolor Workshop series will go over wet on wet techniques, wet on dry techniques, color theory, tips and tricks, transferring drawings to paintings, mistakes to avoid, and creating interest in painting.Attendees will need to bring the following supplies: paint colors in burnt sienna, permanent rose, ultramarine blue, and aureolin or grumbacher yellow; brushes in #8 round, #12 round, #1 rigger or liner, and a large flat for washes; 140 lb. paper; drawing paper; tracing paper tablet; pencil; palette; water container; paper towels; masking tape; board or foam core; and a kneaded eraser. Carmela Pallotta began drawing before she could write. She would just do pencil drawings of Mickey Mouse and Olive Oil. She never lost her love of drawing and continues today at the age of 75 to paint and draw. She has won numerous awards for her paintings including first place for watercolor in the National Arts Program, Ocean City Fine Art League, Senior Art Shows, and the Hammonton Art Center. Pallotta continues to teach workshops and recently offered two workshops in Hammonton about pastels and another that dealt with alcohol ink paintings.
