Beginners Bridge

8-week bridge class.

Learn to play the exciting and fascinating game of Contract Bridge which combines skill, chance, social interaction, adventure and mental fitness. The course will focus on the Standard American bridge system and cover all aspects of bidding, scoring, card playing, popular conventions and bridge etiquette, appropriate for all new and beginning players.

Karen began playing bridge as a novice 20 years ago.  She has progressed to hold Gold Life Master status within the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) and is a certified bridge director.  Karen has also been the President and Manager of the Cape May County Duplicate Bridge Club for the past 11 years.  She is currently the Treasurer of the Unit 141 Board of the ACBL.  Over the past 20 years, Karen has played in bridge tournaments all over the world, including Calabria in Italy, Gatlinburg, New Orleans, Atlanta, Phoenix and New York. She also holds a BS in Secondary Education with English as a Major.
