The program will take place at the Main Branch Library located at 30 Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Library: Cape May Court House LibraryThis cooking demonstration will be done completely improvised. Mystery foods, selected by the Library, will be brought in the day of the program, and the chef will be put to the test to see just how sharp his skills really are. Due to the nature of this cooking demo no recipes will be handed out. Chef Mark Kalla is the head chef at Green Cuisine Restaurant in Stone Harbor, and had his own restaurant: The Barrier Island Inn. He has been the executive chef at the Backyard Restaurant and later for Fish Tales. He currently runs the Avalon Elementary School cafeteria and teaches culinary instruction to children during the summer.
