Cape May Court House – The Cape May County Library invites public to attend “Know Your Cape May County: The Office of Risk Management & Safety” presented by Bill Holmes at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 4th. The program will take place at the Main Branch Library located at 30 Mechanic St. in Cape May Court House.

The Office of Risk Management & Safety is dedicated to protecting people, resources and finances. By comparing past occurrence to future possibilities this office develops innovative ways of controlling losses and stretching public dollars. Through communication, education, training and practice, workplace injuries are reduced, property is protected and financial resources are safeguarded. Bill Holmes will discuss chemicals in the home with an emphasis on Clorox and the risks associated with using it.

The County recognizes that accident prevention, productivity and quality of services go hand in hand and that safety is an integral part of all activities. All County employees, regardless of the capacity in which they function, assume a responsibility for safety consciousness. With this effort the final result is a safe workplace and better service for the public we serve.
