Feeling like you've been left behind? Family members doing all your computing for you? Well, learn the absolute basics and gain confidence in this workshop for the complete novice. You will learn how to use the mouse with guided instruction on the Mouserobics website. You'll also learn some important menu functions and keyboard shortcuts. Mastery of the mouse is required for admission into any other workshop so if you don't know a scroll bar from a drop down menu, a radio button from a checkbox, this will help you sort things out. We'll teach you what the different parts of the computer are called and have you assist in asembling a computer workstation (monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.) just as you would if you were taking a new machine out of the box. Some basic tips on taking care of yourself and your computer components will also be included. Get over your fears and join the fun!
