Library: Cape May Court House LibraryThe Cape May County Court House Library welcomes back Don Freiday on Tuesday, July 6th at 7:00 p.m. with a new program about what birds you can expect to see while out in the back bays of Cape May County in either your own boat or one of the Cape May Bird Observatory boat trips. Learn a new way to bird watch by boat and you may be surprised about the richness and diversity of species that can be encountered while on the water. Don Freiday, Director of Birding Programs for the New Jersey Audubon Society’s Cape May Bird Observatory, is a graduate of Rutgers University where he went on to teach undergraduate student Wildlife Ecology. Freiday is the regional coordinator for the New Jersey Breeding Bird Atlas, member of the New Jersey Bird Records Committee and on the executive board of the New Jersey Chapter of the Wildlife Society. Additionally, Freiday is the co-author of two books: “A Precious Place, a Naturalist Explores New Jersey” and “Wild Journeys: Migration in New Jersey.” For more information please call 463-6350 or see www.cmclibrary.org .
