Date: 6/23/2014

Gain access to some of Southern New Jersey’s wild places aboard the M.V. Osprey. Lord will give a short multimedia presentation at the Lower Township Library about the fauna of the great salt marsh preceding the voyage. We will then cruise the short distance to board the Osprey in Cape May and take a two hour tour of the back bays. While cruising through secure waterways aboard a stable pontoon boat, wonderful opportunities abound to see the wildlife occuring at this time of year.

The Osprey is captained by Bob Lubberman, a seasoned professional Captain who has over twenty years experience in driving vessels. Ages six and up are welcome to join this exciting cruise.

First mate and naturalist, Dave Lord is a veteran wildlife enthusiast with over seven years of intensive studies into the world of Natural History. He is a well known leader of numerous walks for local organizations, including the Cape May Bird Observatory and the New Jersey Audubon, and has conducted numerous bird surveys for the state of New Jersey.
