 Whether you are writing fiction or non-fiction in any of their various genres, you will be more successful in your creative writing projects if you incorporate the seven essential components of creative writing: plot, setting, characters, dialogue, theme, style, and point of view. Using in-class instruction Eva Feeley will assist you in honing your creative writing skills.

Eva Feely, a Sea Isle City writer, has taught creative non-fiction and poetry in the tri-county area for five years. She is a member of the Jersey Cape Writers and the Great Bay Poets. Eva has presented at the New Jersey Writers Conference and North Wildwood Beach Writers Conference. She is the author of two books: Listen to Me, Young Lady: A Guidebook through Womanhood and Survivors of Snake Bites, a collection of her poetry.

  • Attendee must be 18 Years or older.
  • All registrants must have library card in good standing. Many of the programs offered through the Cape May County Library require registration prior to the start of the program. Programs that require registration will be marked on the calendar (online and print), in press releases, and on promotional posters. To ensure fairness, patrons who fail to appear for three (3) programs/classes will not be eligible for first time registration for a period of six months. Rather, these patrons will automatically be placed on the waiting list. If an opening is available, the said patron will be notified that he or she can attend. If a patron cannot attend a program/class, it is his or her responsibility to alert the library via its online registration or telephone at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start of the program/class. If proper notice of cancellation is given, then the patron will not be moved out of good standing.
