 This four week course will help you begin creating a work of art around your photo memories. No experience is necessary, and you will love the end results. Each session will begin with discussions on color coordinating, techniques, journaling and more. Plan to work on two to four pages during each two hour sessions.

Diane Tolson is an avid crafter and enjoys working with many mediums but paper crafting is her biggest passion. She has been scrapbooking for ten years and making handmade greeting cards since she was a young child. She enjoys working with card stock, rubber stamps, ink and sharing it with others.

Other Information:
 Participants will need to bring photos, scissors, and adhesives to every class along with scrap book with page protectors, cardstock, and any designer papers and embellishments that they feel go with the theme of the selected pictures. Scrapbook kits and/or supplies are available at various stores. Diane will provide guidance and tools such as paper cutters, designer scissors, punches, die cuts and a dry embossing machine to help enhance lay-outs.

  • Attendee must be 18 Years or older.
  • Many of the programs offered through the Cape May County Library require registration prior to the start of the program. Programs that require registration will be marked on the calendar (online and print), in press releases, and on promotional posters. To ensure fairness, patrons who fail to appear for three (3) programs/classes will not be eligible for first time registration for a period of six months. Rather, these patrons will automatically be placed on the waiting list. If an opening is available, the said patron will be notified that he or she can attend. If a patron cannot attend a program/class, it is his or her responsibility to alert the library via its online registration or telephone at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start of the program/class. If proper notice of cancellation is given, then the patron will not be moved out of good standing.
