Classes are held at 7:30 p.m. on Mondays, June 15 to August 31, 2010. Classes are at the Main Library located at 30 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House.
Library: Cape May Court House LibraryUsing the premise that students live in a French city a microcosm will be created where students happily chat, reserve hotel rooms, buy groceries, order at a cafe etc. Also some pieces of literature will be read and discussed. All those who wish to converse in French are welcome. Don't be shy, give it a try! The class is under the tutelage of Norma Lindbloom Cruz. Cruz acquired a love of the French language early in life and went on to earn a BA in French from Douglass College, where she spent her junior year studying in Tours, France. From there she earned a Certificate in Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute and worked as a French cook for fifteen years in New York City. Presently Cruz teaches French to middle school students in Lower Township. The class size is limited; therefore registration is required, and a library card in good standing.
