Join Sue for a shoreline stroll on Monday evenings. We will pull a net, sieve the sand, and search for the tide's treasures. We'll chat about living life on the edge of the ocean and wonder about the secrets of the sea. This program is open for all ages and don’t forget to bring your own bucket!Library: Wildwood Crest Library
For over thirty years, Sue has been a professional naturalist and outdoor education specialist for the Ocean Discovery Aquarium, the Philadelphia Zoo, the National Aquarium in Baltimore, the NJ Marine Sciences Consortium, NJ Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May and is currently the Environmental Educator for The Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor. Recipient of the Alliance for NJ Environmental Education’s “Outstanding Environmental Educator of the Year Award” in 2009, Sue has guided thousands of people, young and old, through her favorite haunts turning them on to the wonders of their natural heritage.
We will meet at the Wildwood Crest Library, then take a short stroll to the beach. All ages are welcome!
