Learn the technique of taking sheeps’ wool roving (long bundles of wool fibers before they are spun) to needle felt a fall gnome. Pumpkins and acorns can also be felted to accompany your gnome. Wool roving, extra needles, and foam will be supplied by the teacher, but please bring a basic needle felting kit to class. You can find them inexpensively at Wal-Mart, and they ship free to the store. (Item #551914356 - Feltworks needle kit with foam pad and two needles.)

Paige Cunningham, a West Cape May resident, has been teaching a variety of art classes, in Cape May County, for the past 14 years for people 2 to 106 in years. She has published two children’s books about Cape May and currently teaches art and yoga classes at a local nursing home.
