The Helping Hands Energy Assistance Program is intended to provide an additional source of financial assistance to low-income customers of Atlantic City Electric (ACE) who are experiencing difficulty paying their electric bills.
Eligible customers may receive up to $200 in a 12-month period. Eligibity is determined by the non-profit organization. A residential customer’s household income cannot exceed 400% of the Federal Poverty Level. In some instances, residential customers with household incomes in excess of 400% of the Federal Poverty Level may be considered for a grant under the program in the event of extreme hardship, emergency or family crisis.
