Date: 12/13/2017
Start Time: 6:00 PM
End Time: 8:00 PM
Description:
 .
In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the event, tonight’s presentation will reveal the truth of this pre-meditated invasion (eventually of all of China itself) and what came afterwards. In the Introduction to her landmark book, The Rape of Nanking, (1997) Iris Chang states that: “The chronicle of humankind’s cruelty to fellow humans is a long a sorry tale. But if it is true that even in such horror tales there are degrees of ruthlessness, then few atrocities in world history compare in intensity and scale to The Rape of Nanking.”

Mr. Robert F. Holden is a senior adjunct professor of history at Atlantic Cape Community College whose subject of focus is Holocaust and Genocide Studies. He is also a committee member of the South Jersey Holocaust Coalition.
