<title>Sit Combo Cardio Moves for the Physically Disabled Persons</title>
<description>&lt;b&gt;When:&lt;/b&gt; Monday, May 20, 2013 - 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Where:&lt;/b&gt; Cape May Court House Library at Court House Library Storytime Room&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Complete Sit Cardio is offered for physically disabled persons. This class will offer techniques that allow opportunity to increase the movement and strength of individuals who are challenged daily. We will build muscle, movement, and mind control so everyday activities get easier. This class is for the individuals who cannot stand and need exercises to help build strength coordination and balance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tammy Decker has been teaching complete sit cardio to post therapy clients in Cape May County area for ten years. Prior to 2001 she held these workshops in North Jersey. <title>Yoga for Kids and Teens</title>
<description>&lt;b&gt;When:&lt;/b&gt; Monday, May 20, 2013 - 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Where:&lt;/b&gt; Cape May Court House Library at Court House Library Storytime Room&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Kids and teens age 7-18 are invited to join us for an exploration of the practice of yoga. The focus of the class will be learning basic postures, breathing techniques, learning the art of movement, and also the art of being still. The classes will run for five weeks and will be held on Mondays starting at 3:45. If you are interested in attending please bring either a yoga mat or a large towel, and wear loose fitted clothing that allows for movement.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Classes will be taught by Rebecca Davis RYT500. Rebecca channeled her passion for exploring movement at an early age through her training in classical ballet and modern dance. This exploration of movement lead her to the study of yoga. Rebecca completed the Yoga Nine 500 hour teacher training working closely with Laurie Greene, Edward Clark.  When Rebecca isn't teaching yoga she teaches Cultural Anthropology, Sociology, and  History at the high school level.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No registration is required. Herbs have been used in many aspects of everyday living from preservation to homespun remedies to fabric dyes.  In the lecture portion of this series, Alvarez will discuss the history, practical use of and gardening of herbs. <description>&lt;b&gt;When:&lt;/b&gt; Tuesday, May 21, 2013 - 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Where:&lt;/b&gt; Cape May Court House Library at Court House Kitchen&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Sign Language Instruction presented by Misty Bratton is being offered to adults who would like to learn the basics of American Sign Language and gain an introductory understanding of Deafness as a culture. The class is open to individuals with some previous experience who would like to enhance their knowledge and beginners with little or no sign language experience. American Sign Language is a unique visual language with grammatical and linguistic structure that is different from English. The course will combine vocabulary learning with the basics of grammar and linguistics, and will include a brief introduction to Deaf history and culture. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Misty Bratton has a Bachelor&#146;s degree in Psychology, and has completed the Interpreter Education Program for American Sign Language at Camden County College, NJ. Misty is a member of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, both nationally and in the NJ chapter. We'll teach you what the different parts of the computer are called and have you assist in asembling a computer workstation (monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.) just as you would if you were taking a new machine out of the box. <title>Yoga for Kids and Teens</title>

The focus of the class will be learning basic postures, breathing techniques, learning the art of movement, and also the art of being still. The classes will run for five weeks and will be held on Mondays starting at 3:45. If you are interested in attending please bring either a yoga mat or a large towel, and wear loose fitted clothing that allows for movement.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Classes will be taught by Rebecca Davis RYT500. Rebecca channeled her passion for exploring movement at an early age through her training in classical ballet and modern dance. This exploration of movement lead her to the study of yoga. The class is open to individuals with some previous experience who would like to enhance their knowledge and beginners with little or no sign language experience. American Sign Language is a unique visual language with grammatical and linguistic structure that is different from English. The course will combine vocabulary learning with the basics of grammar and linguistics, and will include a brief introduction to Deaf history and culture. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Misty Bratton has a Bachelor&#146;s degree in Psychology, and has completed the Interpreter Education Program for American Sign Language at Camden County College, NJ. Misty is a member of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, both nationally and in the NJ chapter. Along with native host plants, you will need to provide nesting sites, food and water sources, materials, and the list can go on forever! We want to help with the daunting mounds of information.
