Meditating With a Loud and Messy Mind
The most common limiting thought in meditation practice; "I can't stop thinking, isn't that the point of meditation?"
A noble concern, but a terrible starting point. The point of meditation is be in reality as much as humanly possible, NOT to be a perfect being who has no troubles, thoughts, worries, or feelings.
Instead, let's practice in a way that is kind and practical - with the beautiful, complicated, emotional, messy person who we are today!
Leave perfection behind and begin practicing what really matters - being fully alive in the messy reality of this lifetime!

Ted Costa is a certified yoga instructor since 2017, and in 2020 he graduated a 4-year program based on personal healing and meditation. His meditation approach is based on working kindly and honestly with ourselves as we are in the present moment. Besides that, he co-owns Keep It Real Coffee Company and enjoys the company of his wife and son, dog, friends, family, and meditation communities, which make life way more fun and meaningful.
