Learn about seasonal healing herbs while sketching and painting with watercolors. Simple sketches will be painted following information about healing herbs.

Colleen Ferraro has lived and has played an active part in the Wildwood Crest community. She is a fantastic artist and amazing athlete. She has been teaching Art and coaching cross- country and track to middle school students for upwards of 25 years.

Norma Lindbloom Cruz will also be leading the event. Norma Lindbloom-Cruz loves plants. She promotes their nutritious/healing uses by teaching, leading foraging walks and assisting at an herbal clinic. Aside from that she teaches French, ESL and dabbles in Spanish. 

Each participant shall bring the following:

Small watercolor book or blank page journal
Starter watercolor set cakes or tubes in burnt sienna, permanent rose, ultramarine blue, and aureolin or grumbacher yellow recommended
Brushes-#8 round,#12 Round,#1 rigger or liner, and a large flat brush for washes
pencil, palette, water container, paper towels, masking tape, board or foam core, and a kneaded eraser
