Join Carolyn in-person, as we celebrate the bounty of the summer garden. We’ll prepare roasted stuffed zucchini and an easy quiche that is very flexible with vegetables you may have on hand. And to top any salad in style, or use as a dip, let us explore the tastes and various uses for the classic Green Goddess dressing. This dressing has been around since the 1920’s when it was invented by the chef at San Francisco’s iconic Palace Hotel.
Carolyn Vinci has written food columns for a Gannet newspaper, taught cooking to children and founded an animal advocacy organization. She retired after 32 years of working with the developmentally disabled and is enjoying gardening, attempting to play the violin and cooking. While finding healthy and tasty new ways to prepare food is fun, honoring traditions is important at the Vinci table. Carolyn is excited to bring her ideas to the classroom and looks forward to sharing with and learning from her classes.
