PETER BROWN Virtual Author Visit

Meet award winning children's author/illustrator Peter Brown!

Peter will share with us the steps he took to become a professional author and illustrator. He will read one of his published books and share some of the stories behind its creation. He will discuss his process of writing and illustrating, and give a drawing demonstration with some quick, simple drawing lessons.

Peter is the author of The Wild Robot series and the illustrator of Creepy Carrots! & Creepy Pair of Underwear!.

Peter has written and illustrated many books for children and earned numerous honors, including a Caldecott Honor, a Horn Book Award, two E.B. White Awards, two E.B. White Honors, a Children’s Choice Award for Illustrator of the Year, two Irma Black Honors, a Golden Kite Award, a New York Times Best Illustrated Book Award and multiple New York Times bestsellers.
