The objective of this workshop is to provide a general understanding of DNA and how it can be used to enhance and verify your genealogy research. We will analyze your DNA test results to give you a clearer picture of your genealogy.
Participants must bring the following to each class:
- A laptop
- a USB flash drive
- Completed DNA test results, preferably through a major DNA company such as Ancestry, 23 and ME, or Family Tree DNA.
This 6-week workshop will be held in the Technology Learning Center Classroom on Tuesdays from 10am-12:30pm:

Ms. Helen Fink is a 36+ family historian with 5+ years of experience in using DNA from multiple DNA companies and has been able to expand multiple lines past the DNA-time framework. Between general research and the use of DNA, she has been able to trace multiple lines at least 10 generations and some further than 20 generations.
