Knotting Your Own Pearl Necklace
Discover the art of hand knotting with silk thread and cultured freshwater pearls. Learn how to attach a clasp, thread and knot pearls using a single knot technique. Make a classic 16” freshwater pearl necklace with knots in between. Finish off your necklace with French wire for a professional fine jewelry store look. Choose from a selection of baroque cultured freshwater water pearls in vintage, raven and pink overtones.
Y’vonne Page-Magnus is a native of Philadelphia with has a passion for the Arts. While living in New York she discovered a passion for semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls. While studying abroad, she obtained a B.A. in Fine Arts from ‘AIU’ London, England. ‘Design your Own Jewelry’, a bespoke jewelry concession, was pitched and launched in both ‘Fenwicks’ of Bond Street, and ‘Harrods’ department stores. After returning to Philadelphia, Y’vonne began teaching ‘Design Your Own Jewelry’ W O R K S H O P, while designing jewelry collections and doing Pop-Ups throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Long Island.
