[UPDATE] Beginner Mah Jongg

During this six week workshop for beginners, you will learn the National Mah Jongg League game. By using their rules and 2023 card you will learn the names of the tiles, how to interpret the card, and basic play.

A 2023 National Mah Jongg League card is required to attend. Please purchase your card here: https://www.nationalmahjonggleague.org/store.aspx# 

Attendees should bring their own American Mah Jongg set if they have one. 

The class will take place on Wednesdays from 1pm-4pm at the Wildwood Crest Library on the following dates (PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGES):

• Aug. 23rd
• Aug. 30th
• [NEW - NO CLASS 9/6]
• Sept. 13th
• Sept. 20th
• Sept. 27th may be added if there is interest

Registration will CLOSE 7 days prior to the first class to ensure everyone receives their league card in time.

All registrants are required to attend each class in a series. If absent for the first class, your spot will be given to the next in line on the Waitlist.

This is the 2nd offering of Beginner Mah Jongg this summer. Please sign up for only ONE of the two classes offerings.

The instructor, Debbie Thomas, has been playing Mah Jongg for more than 20 years. She began teaching the game 6 years ago and has many players enjoying the game today. Debbie is enthusiastic about the game and currently plays in many tournaments in the state.
