Connecting with Nature has been shown to have many benefits ..to you, to your connection with others, and to Nature itself. Leave your worries behind and settle into this series of four short sessions. You will be guided through a brief orientation of Nature & Forest Therapy is (also known as “Forest Bathing”), the research-backed benefits of engaging in a guided walk or session, what happens during a typical session, and several invitations to get you started on a wellness practice and an effective way to manage stress.
Each session will be a one and a half hour taster at an indoor location with a brief outdoor invitation.

This is a 4-class series being held on Saturdays, 9:30am-11am at the Upper Township Library:
All registrants are required to attend the first class of a series. If absent, your spot will be given to the next in line on the Waitlist.
For over forty years, Sue Slotterback has been a professional naturalist and outdoor education specialist for the Ocean Discovery Aquarium, the Philadelphia Zoo, the National Aquarium in Baltimore, the NJ Marine Sciences Consortium, NJ Audubon's Nature Center of Cape May, and was the Environmental Educator for The Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor. Recipient of the Alliance for NJ Environmental Education's "Outstanding Environmental Educator of the Year Award" in 2009, Sue has guided thousands of people, young and old, through her favorite haunts, turning them on to the wonders of their natural heritage.
